Frederik Van Overtveldt
Mr. Frederik Van Overtveldt has been a lawyer at the Antwerp Bar since 2008 and joined the firm as a partner in December 2018.
He has built up extensive experience in national and international corporate acquisitions (private M&A), guiding clients through the entire process in all its facets.
This includes actively working out the structure, supervising the negotiations, quickly putting together a team to perform a due diligence and providing all necessary agreements. Delivering individual tailor-made solutions that are unique to each transaction is key.
Mr. Van Overtveldt also advises financial institutions on compliance with the statutory and/or regulatory rules of integrity and conduct (compliance).
Furthermore, Frederik Van Overtveldt has extensive expertise in handling complex corporate disputes, restructuring, assisting directors and shareholders in exercising their rights, commercial intermediaries (distribution, agency, etc.) and more generally in advising on all aspects of commercial and corporate law.
Frederik Van Overtveldt obtained his Master in Law in 2007 from the University of Antwerp and subsequently obtained a Master after Master inBusiness Law from the University of Ghent in 2008. In 2013, he obtained a Postgraduate in Finance (Corporate Finance) from KU Leuven with high distinction.
