Ignace Kroos
Mr. Ignace Kroos is a lawyer at the Antwerp Bar and has been with our firm since February 2014. He joined as a partner on 1 April 2015.
In 2009, Mr. Kroos obtained his Master of Laws with distinction at the University of Antwerp, where he specialised in corporate law during his master years.
Afterwards, he obtained his Master after Master in Maritime and Transport Law with distinction at the same university. The university then nominated his thesis ‘The CMNI: a unitary unification ’ for the Belgian Rhine Navigation Fund Prize.
Before joining Caluwaerts Uytterhoeven, Ignace Kroos enjoyed years of thorough training within a notorious Antwerp maritime law firm.
Besides his special interest in inland navigation, road transport, maritime and logistics law, his practice also focuses on commercial and company law in the broad sense. He advises, drafts conclusive contracts and represents clients before national courts.
