Stéphanie Schepens
Mr. Stéphanie Schepens became a partner of the firm in 2023. Together with Prof. Dr. Kristof Uytterhoeven, she leads the firm's private construction and insurance law team.
Mr. Schepens obtained her Master of Laws with distinction from the University of Antwerp in June 2011. During her master years, she opted for a general education in civil law, corporate law and International and European law.
Afterwards, she also obtained with distinction her LL.M. in French and European law at the University of Paris I - Panthéon Sorbonne.
Given her particular interest in real estate law, Stéphanie Schepens obtained the Postgraduate Certificate in Real Estate Law at KU Leuven in 2016.
Stéphanie Schepens has been a lawyer at the Antwerp Bar since October 2012. During her internship, she was elected as a trainee representative of the Antwerp Bar Association (from 2014 to 2016).
She completed her internship within an established Antwerp office where she received in-depth training in private construction law. In October 2015, she joined our firm, Caluwaerts Uytterhoeven.
Since 2012, Stéphanie Schepens has been continuously active in private construction law and insurance law, in both Dutch- and French-speaking files. She also has a particular interest in contractual and extra-contractual liability and contract law in the broad sense.
