Yannick Grauwels
Mr. Yannick Grauwels graduated with distinction as Master of Laws from the University of Antwerp in 2011.
Under the professional guidance of Mr. Kristiaan Caluwaerts and Prof. Dr. Kristof Uytterhoeven, he has been able to complete his training since 2013 and specialised in handling environmental law cases (cf. planning permits, administrative appeals, enforcement, proceedings before the Council for Permit Disputes, Council of State, etc.).
He has extensive knowledge of providing advice, drawing up contracts and conducting proceedings in the relevant areas. He has also provided the necessary support to various players in the field with various application files of all kinds (e.g. urban development actions, subdivisions, environmental permits/notifications, etc.).
As a lawyer, he is thus active in both Public and Private Construction Law and focuses specifically on real estate/environmental law (focus urbanism).
Since 2017, Mr. Grauwels became a partner of the firm and seized the opportunity to further develop the Environmental Law Team within the firm.
Yannick Grauwels believes in a professional and pragmatic handling of legal files based on both thorough file knowledge and good communication with the client. He believes that interdisciplinary cooperation, transparent working arrangements and constructive debate with relevant stakeholders contribute to the success of a project.
